New Orleans is such a beautiful city with so much culture and history. We traveled here for the 2022 Essence Musical Festival. For this trip we flew into Baton Rogue, LA from Buffalo, NY to save money. We missed our bus from Baton Rogue to New Orleans due to a layover but we were able to catch a ride on the next bus to New Orleans.
Our Airbnb was conveniently located in the downtown area. Everything that we wanted to do was within walking distance.
- Bus station ~5 min walk.
- Ceases Superdome ~15 min walk.
- Bourbon Street ~20 min walk
Overall the trip was amazing. Amazing food and atmosphere. There was always something to do whether being trying new food, bike tours, boat rides or street performances. Bourbon Street does not sleep.
